Fall is in the air here in the mountains of North Carolina and we LOVE it! Early morning walks now require a fleece jacket with a hood. Pumpkins, hot cider, and the smell of wood smoke is creating an environment to really enjoy this special season. The mountains are flaming with orange, red and yellow leaves that fall in great drifts along the streets. It is also my favorite time of year to paint, sketch, and write a little verse. It is my attempt to show gratitude to the Ancient Creator of all this splendor. What are you doing to appreciate this special time of year?
